April 16 - 19 in McKinney (Dallas) Texas with the Southwest Chapter of FPA

McKinney (Dallas) Texas is the place to be April 16-19 for a great CME and aviation education program, congenial pilot gatherings and opportunities to explore one of America's favorite cities. 

Dallas is the bigger and better Texas style city -- and you will feel welcome in historic downtown McKinney.  It's a step back in time. 



OPTIONAL EXCURSION: THE ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS!

Top it off with the 50th Anniversary of the Country Music Awards -- the "Party of the Year".

This optional event will make the Texas weekend a true once-in-a-lifetime memory.
Fly your aircraft into KTKI (McKinney National Airport), just 6 miles from the host hotel: Courtyard by Marriott Dallas/Allen.  SW Chapter will host transportation from the airport to the hotel.

Flying Commerical?  Fly into DFW, 27 miles from McKinney.

THE MEETING SCHEDULE 
  • Thursday evening welcome hospitality and group dinner at Babe's Chicken Dinner House.
  • Friday morning breakfast buffet and CME Session I
  • Friday lunch at Cafe 43 (Geo W. Bush Presidential Center)
  • Afternoon tour of the Bush Presidential Center
  • Self-guided excursion to Downtown Dallas to the famed 5-acre deck park with access to the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, Perot Museum of Nature and Science and more!
  • Saturday breakfast buffet and CME Session II
  • Lunch on your own and time to explore downtown historic McKinney
  • Wine Tasting Cocktail Party at Landon Winery
  • Farewell Group Dinner in historic downtown McKinney
  • Sunday morning breakfast buffet

  • OPTIONAL Excursion on Sunday evening to the Cowboy Stadium for the Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Live Show!
