Great Lakes-Dixie Chapters Fall Meeting

October 4 - 7, 2012 -- Cincinnati OHIO -- Mark the dates on your calendar!  Two chapters with excellent CME planned  in a city known for its aviation ties.  Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport (LUK), 3 miles SE of Downtown Cincinnati.  The FBO is providing a terminal building of our own for arrivals. Planes landing at Batavia will have transportation provided by Sporty's to and from the hotel.  A block of rooms is reserved at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, designated a National Historic Landmark by the U. S. Dept. of the Interior and which continues to receive acclaim as one of the finest examples of French Art Deco architecture in existence.  Each room in the beautifully restored hotel is just a little different from the others.  On October 5, a group tour includes a Cincinnati Chili Tasting, an entertaining presentation by Martha Lunken (Flying magazine contributing editor) and a visit to the General Electric Jet Propulsion Museum guided by the former chief engineer and chief safety officer and the retired project manager of engine development.  Hospitality hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with the farewell banquet on Saturday featuring the Cincinnati Children's Choir!  STAY TUNED for more details on registration and meeting updates soon!
